Dave
Dave is the founder of World Hope. He and his wife have four children who are all active in ministry. He was the senior pastor of a large church in Orlando, FL for many years until the Lord called him to step down and put forth all his efforts towards World Hope. He travelled for many years and began to speak at large evangelistic conferences throughout the world. Dave then began planting churches and what we call Hope Centers in areas of great need. In 2007, the Lord led him to once again resume the role of senior pastor Orlando Baptist Church. Dave is still very active with the ministry as continues to travel and promote World Hope throughout the year.

Derek
Derek, also known around Hope as “Big D”, is the guy that your parents always tell you to be like when you grow up. He has a huge heart with burden to change the lives of those less fortunate. He is the youngest of four siblings.  Derek has travelled as a missionary to over ten countries. He also speaks at many conferences and conventions around the country. As a young man, he had the opportunity to venture into business and make a very comfortable life for himself only to realize several years later that he was being called into a life of missions. He now lives a life committed to those he serves.

Lisa
While Lisa’s title is Director of Operations, she plays many positions and has been an integral part of Hope since 2000. From being the assistant to one of the nation’s busiest men, founder of World Hope - Dr. Dave Janney, to coordinating all of our trips, board meetings, clinics, maintaining key partnerships, and overseeing our micro-businesses overseas, she does it all.  Lisa has been to Hope Center Kenya over a dozen times and she says her favorite part is taking people who have never seen anything like it before - including her three children.

Ward
Ward is an Executive Director for World Hope. He has been with Hope since 2000. He has been a apart of coordinating and directing Hope events in Asia, Central America, and Africa. Ward has a talent for creating key partnerships with large organizations that dramatically raise awareness about World Hope. He speaks frequently throughout the country conveying his passion to see people's lives changed by receiving through the hope of Christ. He is married and has a two-year old son, Ethan.

Kenworth
As the newest member to World Hope, Kenworth has quickly established himself as an essential member of the family.  With a background in sales and marketing, Kenworth has left the business world to devote his talents to expanding the kingdom of God by raising support, increasing awareness, and soliciting prayers.  One corner of that kingdom, Hope Center Kenya, has a particularly special place in his heart.  The suffering of the children there, and the alleviation of that suffering he personally witnessed, confirmed in his heart that World Hope is where he belongs.  He lives in Orlando, FL, is happily married and has three wonderful children.

Kristi
In May 2009, Kristi graduated with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, specializing in play therapy. She was unsure what to do with the education she had received until she went on her first missions trip to Hope Center Nairobi. It was here, where the need is so great, that she felt called to start a counseling program at Hope Academy.  She went to Kenya for six weeks to start a play therapy and mentoring program called “Everlasting Light Counseling” that has helped hundreds of children.  In short, Kristi’s passion is helping the children of the slums mentally deal with their issues of pain, suffering, and hurt and in turn providing an alternative, hope for the future.

Brian
Brian King Mbugua was brought up by Christian parents as the last born in a family of four boys. He gave his life to Christ many times, but finally settled down in the spring of ’97. He received his B.A. in Bible and Theology at Pan Africa Christian University. It was here that God really made it clear what He was calling Brian to do. It was here that he developed a passion for the Word and using both his talents in music and teaching as tools to reach the lost. Currently he is finishing his M.A. in Leadership at Nairobi International School of Theology. Brian was also a lead vocalist with the eight-man gospel group called the ‘Votaries’ that produced the album ‘Faithfulness’. They have toured East Africa and have won two awards for best song of the year and best collaboration. Currently he is venturing into a solo project and is working on releasing a worship album. He is married to his wonderful wife Jean.
