Scouts Club is one of the fastest growing clubs in the school as it is gaining much popularity amongst the students. This is due to the training students get to receive in different areas like life skills, various scout drills, flag hosting ceremony and many others. The club is also having a project in place that seeks to see each scout member has full scout uniform and this year the project picked up by having the members get scarves as they slowly work on the rest.

The year 2010 saw the department also achieve one of its major goals i.e. taking its members for educational trips, the scouts had a rare opportunity to attend “Mashujaa Day” (Swahili for “Heroes Day”) This was a ceremony attended by His Excellency our President and The Honorable Prime Minster and other top government officials and great dignitaries from different countries. This trip gave the scouts an opportunity to see different drills displayed by the military crew and other groups and it is a great motivation for them to be part of the scouts team as very few could afford to attend such a dignified ceremony that is celebrated once a year.
