Recently World Hope partnered with one of the leading hygiene organizations in the industry, Colgate Palmolive. They had an opportunity to hold a workshop at Hope Academy that saw the children get to learn how to brush their teeth properly and care for their oral hygiene. Most of the students don’t get proper training on this at an early age. Colgate Palmolive being a company with a variety of brands also demonstrated to the children how to wash their hands and the importance of doing so in order for them not to host any germs. As we all know many people in the slums suffer various diseases due to poor hygiene, this workshop helped to create awareness. Each child also got to receive a tooth brush and tooth paste for them to carry home.

This saw smiles painted on the faces of many kids as this was a rare opportunity for them. This is something many of them never would have seen were it not for World Hope Academy and Colgate Palmolive.
